Cambridge Viscosity had a great time in Vancouver, BC, Canada meeting with our Latin American channel partners at our first in-person distributor meeting since 2019! It was so good to see our colleagues from SICA, Supertec, Pensalab, Cecoltec, Melvyn Becerra & Cia., and Jose Jalill Haas Representaciones face-to-face, after more than two years of virtual meetings.
We hosted distributors from Latin America and South America. countries represented include Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Argentina, Columbia, and Brazil. We talked about sales strategies, new products, marketing initiatives, and the overall state of the company – it was so productive. Our sales manager for LATAM, Rob Segnatelli, provided training on our new ViscoLab PVT+ for the distributors to educate them on our technology and the benefits of our products when used in fluid reservoir analysis. We also spoke about remote sales and service training, and the benefits realized from our three rounds of our voice of the customer surveys which we conducted for the new PVT+ (thank you Ken Mann for the presentation!). Our digital marketing manager, Josefina Romano, gave her first in-person presentation to the sales channel, since she came on board during the pandemic. (Nice job, Josefina!)
We also were able to get a perspective on how our distributors are connecting to their existing customers via their marketing strategies. It was great to get a view on different techniques used to reach out to their customer base, allowing them to provide beneficial information on the product lines they support.
While in beautiful Vancouver, we had the opportunity to visit the impressive Phase Technologies facility. We met a number of their employees who welcomed us with open arms. Thank you for the warm reception and informative tour!
But, by far, the best time was when we had free time to socialize. We had so much good food and great conversation after our meetings were done. We caught up with old friends and got to know a few new ones, too.
