VISCOlab PVT

VISCOLABpvt Recirculating Recirculating BathThe VISCOlab PVT high-pressure viscometer is designed for pressure viscosity temperature testing in oil research, core analysis, and supercritical fluids. Each system requires less than 6 ml of sample; measures gas and gas condensates in addition to fluid sample; provides statistical certainty that ensures that sample conditions are stable, accurate, and repeatable; incorporates a digital pressure gauge; and is mercury free. Combining a VISCOpro 2000 processor with a Cambridge Viscosity SPL440 sensor, the VISCOlab PVT series also incorporates a high-pressure fluid management system that is available in two basic configurations: the Recirculating Bath System and Air Circulation System.

VISCOlab PVT High Pressure Recirculating Bath System

The VISCOlab PVT High Pressure Recirculating Bath System controls temperatures from -30 to 190º C with a recirculating bath for minimal warm-up time. Sample flow is controlled with a simple three-valve plumbing configuration, and the standard test set-up includes horizontal, 45-degree, and vertical configurations for ease of operation. The High Pressure Recirculating Bath System also includes an intuitive graphical user interface.

VISCOlab PVT High Pressure Air Circulation System

The VISCOlab PVT High Pressure Air Circulation System uses an isothermal oven to control temperatures from 45 to 190º C, providing temperature stabilization more rapidly than conventional industry-standard configurations. Temperature is controlled to ±0.01° C. Measurements that used to take days require just a few hours with the VISCOlab PVT.
