VISCOlab 3000

VISCOlab 3000When viscosity tests require the sample material to be tested at specified high temperatures, the VISCOlab 3000 viscometer is the ideal choice. No separate, bulky, slow-responding water bath system is required. The VISCOlab 3000 incorporates an electronic heater and integrated temperature control that allows the VISCOlab 3000 to be calibrated and accurately deliver measurements at user-defined temperatures from 15°C above ambient to 356°F (180°C). Further, the temperature range can be extended to -40°C with the optional cooling jacket coupled with an appropriate cooling bath. The sensor is easily field-calibrated and supports any of 13 different 20:1 viscosity ranges, with up to 40 distinct temperature/viscosity calibrations.

Cambridge Viscosity’s innovative electromagnetic sensor and resistance temperature detector provide continuous viscosity, temperature, and temperature-compensated viscosity (TCV) readings. The VISCOlab 3000’s electronics allow users to define TCV equation values, data averaging interval, alarm points, density, and much more.

Requiring minimal bench space and providing easy to read digital display in with centipoise or centistokes, the 3000 delivers accurate measurements with small sample sizes: less than 1.5 ml of fluid is required. The VISCOlab 3000 also ships with an RS232 interface to make it easy to output data to a PC for tracking, storage, or graphical display.
